Description

The ALS-SB-P2-200W-5K-III-BZ-HV is a 200-watt LED area light designed for commercial and industrial sites that require high-voltage input and high-output performance. This model delivers approximately 30,000 lumens at 150 lumens per watt, making it a strong LED replacement for 400W metal halide fixtures on typical 20–30 ft poles in parking lots, drive lanes, and general site lighting.

The fixture uses a one-piece die-cast aluminum housing with a bronze (BZ) powder coat finish. The cast aluminum body and integrated heat-sink fins provide efficient thermal management, keeping LED junction temperatures low and supporting long service life in nightly operation. The UV-resistant finish and corrosion-resistant construction make it suitable for retail centers, auto dealerships, campuses, and industrial facilities.

High-efficacy Lumileds LEDs are paired with a high-voltage LED driver to achieve the 150 lm/W performance level. The HV driver is designed for higher commercial and industrial line voltages 277-480V (beyond standard 120–277VAC), providing stable operation and consistent light output across the specified high-voltage range. The driver includes 0–10V dimming, allowing the fixture to integrate with typical control systems for stepped or continuous dimming, occupancy-based control, and energy management.

This specific model is 5000K (5K), a cool white color temperature commonly used for parking lots and security lighting where maximum visibility and contrast are required. The fixture uses a Type III optical distribution, designed for perimeter poles, parking rows, and drive lanes where forward throw and lateral spread are needed. The precision-molded lens system improves uniformity and reduces hot spots and dark areas compared to legacy HID fixtures, often without changing existing pole locations.

The ALS-SB-P2-200W-5K-III-BZ-HV uses the mid-size housing in the series, with approximate dimensions of 19.19" x 12.4" x 2.48". The low-profile design helps manage wind load and maintains a clean appearance on square or round poles.
