Description

The ALS-SB-P2-100W-5K-III-BZ is a 100-watt LED area light designed for small commercial exterior sites and lower mounting heights on a standard 120–277V service. This model delivers approximately 15,000 lumens at 150 lumens per watt, making it a strong LED replacement for 250–320W metal halide fixtures on shorter poles in small parking lots, drive lanes, and general site lighting.

The fixture uses a one-piece die-cast aluminum housing with a bronze (BZ) powder coat finish. The cast aluminum body and integrated heat-sink fins provide effective thermal management, keeping LED junction temperatures low and supporting long life in nightly operation. The UV-resistant finish and corrosion-resistant construction make it suitable for retail pads, small lots, auto service areas, and light industrial sites.

High-efficacy Lumileds LEDs are paired with a high-efficiency LED driver to achieve the 150 lm/W performance level. The standard driver operates on 120–277VAC, 50/60 Hz, covering most commercial electrical services. The driver includes 0–10V dimming, allowing integration with typical control systems for stepped or continuous dimming, occupancy-based control, and energy management.

This model is 5000K (5K), a cool white color temperature commonly used for parking lots and security lighting where high visibility and contrast are required. The fixture uses a Type III optical distribution, designed for perimeter poles, parking rows, and drive lanes where forward throw and lateral spread are needed. The precision-molded lens system improves uniformity and reduces hot spots and dark areas compared to older HID fixtures, often without changing existing pole locations.

The ALS-SB-P2-100W-5K-III-BZ uses the smaller housing in the series, with approximate dimensions of 13.31" x 12.4" x 2.47". The compact, low-profile design helps minimize wind load and keeps the fixture appearance clean on square or round poles. Multiple mounting options are available, including slip fitter, arm mount, trunnion, and yoke mounts, giving contractors flexibility for both new installations and retrofit projects.
