Description

The ALS-SB-P2-150W-5K-III-BZ-HV is a 150-watt LED area light designed for commercial and industrial exterior lighting where high-voltage input and efficient performance are required. This model delivers approximately 22,500 lumens at 150 lumens per watt, making it a strong LED replacement for 400W metal halide fixtures in small to mid-size parking lots, drive lanes, and general site lighting.

This fixture uses a one-piece die-cast aluminum housing with a UV-resistant bronze (BZ) powder coat finish. The cast aluminum body and integrated heat-sink fins provide effective thermal management, keeping LED junction temperatures low and supporting long operating life in nightly use. The housing is built for outdoor environments and offers good corrosion resistance for retail centers, auto dealerships, campuses, and similar sites.

Light is produced by high-efficacy Lumileds LEDs driven by a high-efficiency high-voltage LED driver. The HV driver is designed for commercial and industrial electrical services where line voltage is higher than standard 120–277V systems it is for 277-480V. It maintains stable operation and supports consistent light output across the specified high-voltage range. The driver includes 0–10V dimming, allowing the fixture to be integrated with typical control systems for stepped or continuous dimming and energy management.

This specific model is 5000K (5K), a cool white color temperature commonly used for parking lots and security lighting where maximum visibility and contrast are desired. The fixture uses a Type III optical distribution, which is suited for perimeter poles, parking rows, and drive lanes where forward throw and lateral spread are needed. The precision lens system improves uniformity and reduces dark spots compared to legacy HID fixtures, often without changing existing pole locations.

The ALS-SB-P2-150W-5K-III-BZ-HV is available with multiple mounting options to match existing poles and brackets.
