The ALS-SB5-200W-5K-III-WH is an earlier-generation 200-watt LED area light designed for commercial exterior applications on standard 120–277V services. This model delivers approximately 29,000 lumens at 145 lumens per watt, making it a suitable LED replacement for 400W metal halide fixtures on typical 20–30 ft poles in parking lots, drive lanes, and general site lighting.

The fixture uses a die-cast aluminum housing with a white (WH) powder coat finish. The housing provides structural rigidity and heat dissipation, while the UV-resistant finish helps maintain appearance in outdoor environments. The construction is intended for commercial sites such as retail centers, campuses, auto dealerships, and light industrial areas where a white fixture is preferred to match building or canopy colors.

Light is produced by high-efficacy LEDs driven by a high-efficiency LED driver. The standard driver operates on 120–277VAC, 50/60 Hz, covering most commercial electrical services. The driver includes 0–10V dimming, allowing the fixture to be integrated with common lighting control systems for stepped or continuous dimming, occupancy-based control, and energy management.

This model is 5000K (5K), a cool white color temperature commonly used for parking lots and security lighting where high visibility and contrast are required. The fixture uses a Type III optical distribution, designed for perimeter poles, parking rows, and drive lanes where forward throw and lateral spread are needed.
